Hey friends,
NexusCon 2024 featured 109 speakers across 24 different sessions. For those 3 days, the ideas shared throughout the presentations and discussions made Denver, Colorado the epicenter of the movement to digitize and decarbonize our buildings. If only there were a way to relive those moments.
Oh wait... that’s right... we recorded it!
Although nothing beats the in-person real-time learnings from NexusCon, we are excited to release the NexusCon session recordings to our Nexus Pro Community. We have over 40 hours of hot takes, knowledge bombs, case studies, collaborations, and disagreements among smart buildings industry experts to share with you.

⚖️ If you were at NexusCon 2024, you undoubtedly struggled with which sessions to attend. This is your chance to catch up on the sessions you couldn’t get to.
👇Below are two session recordings to kick us off. We’re giving nonmembers a taste of the action for free.
Our CEO and COO, James Dice and Rosy Khalife kicked off NexusCon with a bang. They explained what Nexus Labs is, how we got here, and what attendees should expect. James shared the theme - Flintstones to Jetsons - and how we’re all together on this journey from Bedrock to Orbit City. Rosy closed it out by sharing what building owners are actually looking for and how we made NexusCon a community-first event. This presentation set the stage for what would be an epic 48 hours of intellectual collaboration.
As buildings become more digitally integrated, the convergence of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) presents new opportunities and challenges. This session explored how adopting an IT mindset for OT systems can enhance governance and cybersecurity, ensuring that digital buildings are not only smart, but also secure and reliable. This session will cover the following briefings:
The session was kicked off by Drew DePriest of McKesson, who covered the lessons learned regarding the network utilization of emerging facility management technologies, including user access management, avoiding ownership confusion between IT and OT, addressing issues with alarm data transportation, and diagnosing network failures. We’re giving non-pro members free access to watch Drew’s presentation.
To continue on and hear from Dartmouth College, Kilroy Realty, CBRE, Optigo Networks, Ace IoT Solutions, and Neeve on OT case studies, best practices, and panel discussions, subscribe to Nexus Pro.

P.S. With the holiday schedule this year, we will be sending out just one more newsletter in 2024. It will hit your inboxes on December 30th, and then we'll see you in the New Year!
