Hey friends,
It’s been a week of celebration, as we hosted a successful happy hour event in Denver, Colorado, bringing together our team and community members for an evening of fun and networking.
In addition to the happy hour, we also launched Cohort 6 of our Foundations course, with an enrollment of 86 students from all over the world. We are thrilled to welcome such a diverse group of learners, and we can't wait to see them thrive in our program.
Finally, we celebrated the promotion of Rachel Kennedy to the role of Foundations Course Lead. It’s a side gig for her, but she’s still a vital member of our team. We are confident she will excel in this new role, helping us to continue delivering top-quality education to our students. Congrats, Rachel!

Here’s everything worth sharing from Nexus HQ this week:
★ARTICLE: Decarb Roadmap We kicked off our new column, Decarb Roadmap. We'll explore the new game of decarbonization and develop a framework for how any organization can go from setting a Carbon Target to reaching it. We'll cover everything else after the target is set: from data collection, benchmarking, planning and action, procurement and carbon offsets, and more. Read it here.
---
★ PODCAST: 🎧 #60: Success with Tenant Engagement Apps Episode 60 is a conversation with Jacinda Lofland from Nuveen. We talked about all things tenant and occupant engagement, including why it's important now, the use cases for dedicated engagement technologies, the lessons learned from deploying tenant apps across Nuveen's portfolio, and much more. Listen to it here.

★ PRO MEMBERS: Nexus Pro Member Digest As a Pro Member, you get access to our monthly Member Digest. We know you're busy so we collect all the important highlights for you. If you didn't make it to our live events, be sure to check those out (and mark your calendar for April's events). Read it here.
---
★ WHO-IS / I-AM: Speaker Database We added 8 more speakers to our database. Who-Is / I-Am is part of our effort to promote new voices in the industry. We want to make it easier for conference organizers to find experts who you might not have heard from in the past. Check it out.
I think there should be more discussion about the role of government policies and regulations in promoting sustainability and driving innovation in the industry. Policymakers have a critical role in incentivizing and promoting sustainable practices and technologies, and greater collaboration between government and industry stakeholders can help accelerate progress in this area.
