More to Explore at NexusCon with our Buyer & Vendor Symposiums and Demo Stage

Hey Friends,

As we continue to gear up for our inaugural NexusCon (now less than a month away!) we've been sharing a lot about the sessions and case studies organized around our goal of education. But beyond that, there's a lot else for you to see and explore while you're there! This week, we wanted to introduce some of the other unique spaces and events happening at NexusCon, like our Buyer & Vendor Symposiums and the Demo Stage.

Buyer & Vendor Symposiums

With two big rooms, one each exclusively for buyers and vendors, we're creating a safe space at NexusCon for you to be with your peers (buyers with buyers, vendors with vendors). With strict access, we're going to crumble the walls of competition, eliminate the fluff, and offer an opportunity to be vulnerable, learn from each other, and focus on what's holding us back as we work to accelerate adoption in our industry.  

In each symposium, we'll host about 10 roundtable discussions focusing on a particular topic.

For buyers, this will include conversations surrounding what's holding you back from technology adoptions, and what technologies you're most focused on implementing and improving throughout your buildings. Without vendors listening in, we hope this will allow you to share openly, figure out common issues, and get ideas on best practices for overcoming them.

For vendors, discussions will center around what's stifling greater technology adoption, and how you're making emerging tech the status quo for building owners. Rather than focusing on competing against one another, we'll focus on the challenges facing us all.

After each set of breakout discussions, we'll host a panel with industry experts to synthesize what was discussed. All of this is focused on helping each NexusCon attendee answer the question: How can we best bridge the gap between buyers and sellers to accelerate adoption?

Demo Stage

Throughout the three days of NexusCon, we'll host a live Demo Stage where 30 vendors will showcase new, innovative features and products, and vie for Most Innovative Demo, which will be awarded an official Nexie 2024 Medal 🏅 (more to come on that).

This won't be a yawn-fest, we promise. This is a chance for our vendors to share one, yes just one, cutting-edge product or feature that's moving the industry forward. They'll have just 10 minutes to do a live demonstration of their technology, with five minutes to take questions.

They'll also be judged by our panel of experts, who will choose the top four to move on to our Showdown Round. Held during our closing keynote session, the entire NexusCon audience will vote for one vendor to take the crown of Most Innovative Demo and win a Nexie!

At NexusCon, we're focused on more than just educating our industry by looking at case studies and real-world examples, but also how we can move our industry forward, drive adoption, and see what's next.
